About thirteen years ago, we acquired a vizsla by accident--at of all places a farmer's market! We did not know even what breed she was until we took her to the vet. Turned out to be the best dog we ever had. A few weeks ago, we had to put her down due to kidney failure. We set out on the impossisble task of finding a replacement. We now have Maggie, a ten week old wired-haired vizsla from a breeder in Pine Grove PA! What a gem! We are enjoying learning about this new breed |

Hi, I own a Vizsla #$@%! (smooth coated) and are totally in Love with this special Breed. She is 23 months and I have trained her myself to hunt, Quail, Pheasants, and she is now pointing Rabbits. I have always liked the looks of the wirehairs and you have beautiful dogs and a great site. Hopefully more wires will become available to us in the US and someday I'll be the proud owner of one such special, animated, smart animal....well there almost like kids instead oif an animal...
